A Beauty Review: Neal's Yard Rejuvenating Frankincense Refining Cleanser

neals yard refining cleanser review

Every morning I look forward to using this cleanser because put simply, its just so lovely. It's true. I’ve been using Neal’s Yard Rejuvenating Frankincense Refining Cleanser religiously for the past 12 months and I’m hooked. Experts say if you make it past a year it must be a match so now feels like a great time to introduce you...

Seriously, I should have told you about this sooner. It's taken me many years to find a cleanser that gives my pores a deep cleanse and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight immediately after use. I have dry skin so often find cleansers are either too gentle or too harsh.

The Rejuvenating Frankincense Refining Cleanser is my first product from Neal’s Yard Remedies. I only tried it because a make up artist recommended it and I'm so glad I did - finally a balanced cleanser for dry skin.

This creamy two-step cleanser is a beautiful blend of luxurious natural organic ingredients. As the name suggests it's enriched with anti-ageing frankincense to firm and tone your skin.

The light texture feels super luxe on your skin. It gives a deep cleanse to remove all traces of make up and leaves my pores much more refined.

It also smells divine and never leaves my skin feeling dry or tight, just smooth and super soft thanks to the organic cocoa butter. This is such a wonderful cleanser.

To use: simply massage the cream on to dry skin with your fingertips and then remove using a hand-hot, damp muslin cloth in circular movements.

It’s £20 for 100g (including a free organic muslin cloth) and one tube lasts me about two months when I use it once a day.

NYR are something of a cult beauty brand: organic, ethical, British and pushing against the synthetical approach to skincare since 1981!

To be honest their branding and packaging is a bit dated but, don't be put off, their products are very deserving of the numerous beauty awards they have won. With over 30 years experience they are experts in the natural beauty field and have an extensive range of 'no nasties' based products for all your skincare and body needs. Any ideas which NYR products I should try next? They all sound divine...
